Thousands of true-crime enthusiasts converged in Orlando, Florida the end of September and Dick Harpootlian was there with a CrimeCon exclusive and new developments in the Murdaugh case.
In an on-stage discussion with 20/20’s host Eva Pilgrim, Dick Harpootlian and Jim Griffin provided the audience with an inside look at the challenges they faced in the Richard Alexander Murdaugh trial and the recent motion asking for a new trial based on allegations of jury tampering.
The weekend-long event attendees not only heard from Murdaugh’s defense team and the State’s prosecutor, but also from survivors of crimes, families of victims, and were able to meet TV personalities and true-crime authors.
